I have a lot of other games to get to, so I'm not goimg to spend a lot of time searching for a fix. I am pretty sure I played both games in the past with no problem. On steam unplugging my usb logitech controller fixed it, but that does not work on gog. I was also having the problem on steam with metro 2033.
The only real difference in my system since then is that I have a 1080ti rather than a GTX 970. Whats weird is that about 18 months ago I was able to play about 35 minutes of the game before I put it down and forgot about it. Doesn't matter if I select Safe mode or not Nope, GOG version doesn't work for me either. So now I'm trying to see if running the GOG version will work. Like Raet I've tried a few of the alternative fixes (copying physx's file into the folder, the nvcuda dll) but nothing has helped. I have been trying to play the steam version and it was crashing to desktop as soon as I started the game. Tarasis: Glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue. Just Dishonored 2 got a few bugs, even after the patches. Wasted much of time to find this stepps :/ Wrote an Letter to the local Distributor-Support, too. I hope there is an way to start this game. Tryed with the Steam Version of Metro 2033 Redux and the GoG Version of Metro Last Light Redux.
